"Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter in. And He took them into His arms, laid His hands on them and blessed them." Mark 10:14-16 At Calvary we want the children to know Jesus through His word and our Christ like actions. We offer nursery care and classes for children from birth til 18 years of age for all services concurrent with our adult studies. This enables your child to be taught at the level where they can relate to Jesus. In each class we focus on the study of God's word through a variety of tools including flannel boards, puppets, and other visuals, as well as scripture memorization, prayer and worship. Each class is designed to use crafts, games and other activities to convey the truth about God's word. Every two years we make a complete cycle through the bible. Behind all the puppets and crayons, memory verses and snacks, the vision of the Children's Ministry is to see this "young generation," from infants to teens, acknowlegde Jesus as Savior and provide them with the tools they need for a lifetime of walking with Christ. |
